There has been a data breach due to the UK Online Safety Act because of the lacklaster infrastracture on 3rd party websites. The UK Government should be ashamed. The UK government asserts that existing data protection laws (like GDPR) and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) provide safeguards which it hasn't.
