RaZiel was a famous Return to Castle Wolfenstein player years ago. Many people today still consider him one of the best RTCW players ever. Luckily, he wanted to share his aiming and other playing techniques with the community, so he wrote a tutorial at the end of 2003: Aiming by RaZiel.
Although the tutorial is quite old and targets RTCW players, most of the lessons are also relevant to Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory players. The examples directory contains some videos with scenes of him playing plus an explanation on what he did and what you can learn from that specific video. What I find most useful from this package are his texts, but I've left in everything from the original package for historical reasons.
I wouldn't use the included operating system tweaks and patches, because they are probably for Windows 98SE and earlier versions of XP (prior to the service packs), but the Reflex game should work just fine on all Windows versions. There are also some very old drivers which absolutely shouldn't be used. So, DO NOT CLICK on any files with .BAT, .REG or .EXE extensions.
As to the config files included, I never bothered to look into them and don't know how much of them still applies to ET, but my advice regarding third-party configs has always been: if you don't know what each command and each Cvar setting does, DO NOT USE IT.
